National Meteorological Training School – Entebbe
The National Meteorological Training School (NMTS) is a prestigious institution established in 1989. It operates under the Department of Meteorology within the Ministry of Natural Resources, Uganda. The school was founded with the primary objective of providing comprehensive meteorological education and training to aspiring meteorologists and professionals in the field.
As a government-funded institution, the NMTS plays a crucial role in developing and enhancing the capabilities of meteorological personnel in Uganda. It operates under the umbrella of the Directorate of Training and Research, which is part of the Uganda National Meteorological Authority.
